Are IRAs offered by the Smead Value Fund?

We offer traditional, Roth, SEP and Simple IRAs. We also offer Coverdell Education Savings Accounts.

Are uniform gift to minors (UGMA) accounts offered?

The Smead Value Fund does offer UGMAs by checking "gift to minors" on the New Account Application.

Are the Funds offered for sale in all states?

The Fund is currently offered in the following states and territories: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wyoming, Washington and the Virgin Islands. Call (877) 807-4122 to find out if the fund is registered in your state.

What is the minimum initial investment?

The minimum initial investment is $3,000. The minimum subsequent investment for all accounts is $500. Shareholders will be given at least 30 days' notice of any increase in the minimum dollar amount of subsequent investments. You may add to your account at any time by purchasing shares by mail, by telephone or by wire.

Do you manage separate accounts?

The adviser (Smead Capital Management) does manage separate accounts for institutional investors and high net-worth individuals. Account minimum for a separately managed account is $1,000,000. If you are interested in a separate account, please contact Cole Smead at (206) 838-9854.
